Discover Amazon in Pará State
Pará State is the second largest state of Brazil, in geographical size, representing 26% of the Brazilian Amazon. It has 49% of the major tourist attractions of the Brazilian Amazon region (source: OAS). Pará has the largest hydrographic basin where the Amazon River reaches the Atlantic Ocean. Amazon has given Pará freshwater and ocean beaches, areas of virgin forests, mountains, lakes and most of the Amazonian rivers. Pará’s culture is a mixture of indigenous, European, African and Asian heritages. For this reason, Pará is unique. It has a delicious gastronomy of exotic touches provided by all these different heritages and by the forest.

Once you consider to visit Pará Amazon, we have two entrance gateways: Santarém Airport and Belém International Airport, which receive national and international flights.

We suggest to begin your trip in Belém, because there arrive the majority of international flights. From here you can discover the most interesting regions deppending you interest.
If you want to know about local culture, Belém City is the right place to stay. Add fields and wildlife diversity, like a Pantanal, going to Marajó Island. All exuberance of the Amazon Jungle and the greatest scenic from our "Caribean" sweet waters with its beaches, you will find it in Tapajós.
